An Italian company for H&M Conscious Exclusive 2019: Orange Fiber for the first time in the eco-friendly collection of the Swedish brand
Sustainable fabrics for fashion obtained from the by-products of the industrial pressing of oranges that become a sophisticated corset top: it is with this garment that Orange Fiber enters the H&M stores for the first time with the Conscious Exclusive 2019 collection , a special collection made only with materials sustainable.
The H&M Conscious Exclusive was presented with dedicated events all over the world and, a few hours after the official launch on 11 April online and in selected stores of the Swedish brand, the boho-style top in Orange Fiber fabric was already sold out !
“The inclusion of Orange Fiber in the Conscious Exclusive 2019 is an opportunity for us to test the potential of our fabrics – enhanced by the creativity and design that distinguish the H&M brand – and to help spread a new sensitivity in the fashion world towards choice. materials, sustainable and innovative”
– Enrica Arena, Co-Founder of Orange Fiber.
After winning the Global Change Award in 2015 – the annual initiative promoted by the H&M Foundation to research and support innovative projects capable of making the fashion industry more sustainable – Orange Fiber is included in the H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection with a luxurious corset top with Bardot neckline, made with a cellulose fabric similar to silk, but entirely obtained from the by-products of industrial citrus pressing, through an innovative patented process.
SUSTAINABLE LUXURY – Sustainability and innovation , combined with the Made in Italy quality mark , distinguish the product and make the company a reference point for fashion players who care both about environmental protection and exclusivity.
CROWDFUNDING TO INCREASE PRODUCTION – After the H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection, Orange Fiber is ready to face another challenge: the launch of the equity crowdfunding campaign on CrowdFundMe, the first equity crowdfunding portal listed on the Italian Stock Exchange.
The investments collected will be used to optimize the industrial production process and increase production capacity, fundamental steps that will allow the company to meet the numerous requests from fashion brands and actively contribute to the protection of the planet’s resources , increasingly replacing traditional fabrics – whose production has a strong impact on the environment – with an innovative and sustainable material.
