Orange Fiber x 8 by YOOX

Thanks to our victory in the Vogue Yoox Challenge, we are happy to announce the collaboration with YOOX which sees the birth of the first homeware line.

High quality fabrics created with innovative and responsible methods: these are the ingredients that make 8 by Orange Fiber unique, the first collection dedicated to homeware, created and produced by 8 by YOOX together with Orange Fiber.

The exclusive capsule combines the design of the YOOX private label with our mission: to promote virtuous production practices along the textile supply chain and create surprising materials for people who care about our planet.

This collection includes four napkins and four placemats for the home, with finishing touches in different color variants and fun cocktails embroidered on each of them, together with the iconic orange slice, which represents our dream come true: the transformation of a by-product of the citrus juice industry in a Made in Italy fabric.

The fabric chosen for making the sets is identified by the code T021, a compact, resistant item, ideal for accessories, furnishings and to be doubled.

Composed of 57% Better Cotton Initiative certified cotton and 43% Orange Fiber yarn (made of TENCEL ™️ Limited Edition x Orange Fiber) it is woven entirely in Italy.

The collection marks the debut of the YOOX label in the world of homeware, to offer the customer an ever wider and more contemporary proposal, attentive to everyday needs and the central role that the home plays in everyone’s life.

Thanks to the Vogue team for the opportunity and to the courage of Orange Fiber to find a new opportunity through technology to take care of our planet”, says Valentina Visconti Prasca, Managing Director of YOOX.

The 8 by Orange Fiber collection contributes to YOOX NET-A-PORTER’s Enable Better Choices effort to increase the percentage of its products rated as more sustainable each year. The commitment is part of YOOX NET-A-PORTER’s sustainability strategy, Infinity, which reflects its ambitions to create a more sustainable, circular and inclusive fashion system by 2030.

For us too, 8 by Orange Fiber is a debut in the world of home textiles and we are incredibly happy to have done it with partners such as YOOX and Vogue, who have supported us by believing in us and making this collaboration possible.
