Fashion For Good Museum – GROW Exhibition

Orange Fiber is part of Grow, the new exhibition of the Fashion For Good Museum in Amsterdam dedicated to biomaterials and innovations that are shaping the future of fashion.

Initially launched on April 6 with an exhibition of conventional biomaterials and pioneering brands and products such as the creations of Pangaia, FREITAG F-ABRIC, Bananatex and Bioglitz, on October 28 GROW evolved launching a new expo of exclusive fashion items designed by young Dutch talent with innovative materials inspired by Nature.

Fabrics from orange peel, circular vegan material from cork powder and coconuts and fibres from a banana plant have been transformed into fantastic fashion items designed by young Dutch talent Huong Nguyen, Frederieke Broekgaarden, Eva Sonneveld and Charlotte Bakkenes.

Established names Iris van Herpen and Karim Adduchi are also part of the exhibition and show their own creations made from biomaterials.

“Sevilla” is the name of the exclusive dress created by the talented fashion designer and illustrator Karim Adduchi with Orange Fiber fabrics.

Supported by a campaign photographed by Christian Mpamo, the exhibition can be seen from October 29, 2021 to April 2022 at the Fashion for Good Museum in Amsterdam by booking a ticket here.

The exhibition project represents only the most recent chapter in history that links Orange Fiber to Fashion For Good.

In 2018, in fact, our company was selected among the 15 startups that won the Fashion For Good – Plug & Play Accelerator, an innovative acceleration program dedicated to sustainable innovations in the fashion sector and supported by important partners such as Adidas, C&A, Galeries Lafayette, Kering, Target and Zalando.
