Two exclusive Orange Fiber fabrics were chosen by Peet Dullaert Couture for one of its amusing looks for its Fall Winter 23/24 collection. The selected textiles are both made of 62% of Orange Fiber TENCEL™ Limited Edition lyocell (OF & certified wood pulp) and 38% of TENCEL™ LUXE (certified wood pulp) woven by the well-known Italian renowned company Tessitura Serica Taborelli. T067 and T071 are the names of the Orange Fiber fabrics (available in the next OF collection) that converged in an elegant embroidered gown.
The Peet Dullaert Couture look created in collaboration with Orange Fiber was first presented for the brand catwalk on September the 29th 2023 – during Paris Fashion Week – at the amusing Residence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Hôtel d’Avaray in Paris. The inspiration at the atelier is rooted in celebration of the myriad of human silhouettes, each of them, entirely shaped and sewn by hand, and also in honouring resilience and movement of the body.
Enrica Arena, Orange Fiber CEO commented: “We are pleased to collaborate with Peet Dullaert, a talented couturier and a responsible entrepreneur, who cares for delivering a sustainable and modern alternative in luxury fashion”.
“This season – added couturier Peet Dullaert – we introduce TENCEL™ crêpe fabrics and fabrics created by Orange Fiber based in Catania, Sicily, and TENCEL™ LUXE in a new collaboration backed by innovation and savoir-faire. The origin of TENCEL™LUXE and of all these fabrics is fascinating and inspiring to me. […] I feel what connects us is the dedication and focus on responsible and modern design, with forward-thinking savoir-faire, and our partnership enables us to create a better world together.”
